In compliance with 'The NHS Employment Check Standards' which outline the employment checks employers must undertake before appointing staff into NHS positions, across England. These standards apply to permanent staff, staff on fixed-term or temporary contracts, volunteers, students, trainees, contractors and temporary staff supplied by an agency. These Employment Check Standards are also embedded in the Government Procurement Services (GPS) and the National Agency Framework Agreement
